Frequent Video Chats Help Grandparents Bond With Their Young Grandchildren

A recent AARP study of 1,157 grandparents found video connections, such as Zoom and FaceTime, to be a popular and frequent way to interact online, with nearly 40% reporting they logged on daily or a few times a week. These  commonplace interactions helped keep families connected during the pandemic as some read books, others sang, and the youngest were entertained with a game of peek-a-boo.
